Order Statuses

Logistik Courier uses several different order statuses to manage your orders.

Unassigned

An order that has the status of “Unassigned” is an active order that has not yet been dispatched to a driver. Logistik will abbreviate this to “UNASN” within the dispatching dashboard and order list.

Assigned

An order that has the status of “Assigned is an active order that has been assigned to a driver but has not yet been sent to the driver. Assigning an order to a driver is a good way of creating a plan for handling multiple orders without drivers becoming confused by you changing the order they are doing. By clicking the action button within the order list, you can dispatch all assigned orders at once, or you can select an order from the list and dispatch it via the driver card within the order details.

Sent

An order that is “Sent” is an active order that has been dispatched to a driver, but the driver has not confirmed the order yet. Logistik will change the color of the cell from white to yellow after 5 minutes have passed without the driver confirming the order, and then again from yellow to red after an additional 5 minutes. This is a great way of making sure a driver does not miss an order that you have dispatched, as you can quickly check by looking for any yellow or red cells in the status column. Logistik will abbreviate this to “SENT” within the dispatching dashboard and the order list.

Confirmed

An order that has the status of “Confirmed” is an active order that has been dispatched to a driver and then confirmed by said driver. Logistik will abbreviate this to “CONF” within the dispatching dashboard and the order list.

Picked Up

An order that has the status of “Picked Up” is an active order that has been dispatched, confirmed, and picked up by the driver. Logistik will abbreviate this to “PCKUP” within the dispatching dashboard and the order list.

Partial Completion

When an order has multiple stops, upon delivering the first stop the order will change to the status of Partially Completed. A partially completed order will display how many stops have been delivered, and how many total stops the order has. Logistik will abbreviate this to “X/Y DONE”, where X is the number of stops that have been delivered, and Y is the total number of stops.

Delivered

An order that has the status of “Delivered” is an order that has had every stop marked complete. This status will rarely be seen, as Logistik will change the status of an order to “Done” when the last stop is marked completed. If you click the “Mark not done” button on a completed order, it will return to a “Delivered” status. This can be useful if a driver accidently marks an order completed when its not complete. Logistik will abbreviate this to “DLVRD” within the dispatching dashboard and the order list.

Done

An order that has been completed from start to finish will have the status of “Done”.

Closed

Once an order is completed, the driver has been paid, and the customer has been invoiced, the status will change to “Closed”.

Cancelled

If an order is cancelled by a customer, or by a dispatcher, it will have the status of “Cancelled”.

Draft

Logistik uses a status called “Draft” to draw attention to an order that may have an issue. Orders can be in “Draft” status for two reasons:

  1. If an order is entered by a customer through the customer portal.
  2. If an order has one or more stops where Logistk cannot properly Geocache the address.

Orders in “Draft” status are not able to be dispatched to drivers, so you'll need to resolve the draft status before dispatching an order. For orders that were entered from the customer portal, it is usually as simple as going to edit the order, and then saving the changes after verifying all of the data is present and correct. For orders that have an issue with the geocaching, you'll need to resolve any bad addresses. You can do this by looking for which stop(s) failed to geocache. Stops that haven't properly geocached will have a red location icon. If you've verified that the address is correct, but the Logistik is still unable to geocache the address, click on the location icon to bring up a map of where Logistik is estimating the location to be. If the location presented seems correct click “Save Changes”, or drag the pin to the correct location and click “Save Changes”. Once you have resolved any issues with an order in “Draft” status, click the “Save changes” button at the top of the order entry form to bring the order to “Unassigned” status. At that point, the order will be able to be dispatched. Any orders that are in draft status will have the entire row highlighted red in the order list.
